When the alien Gardner invaded the agricultural world of Vasquez, only the planet was in danger. That all changes when retired Marine Lieutenant General Colby Edson, in attempt to warn humanity of the threat, hitches a ride through the wormhole to New Mars only to discover that he and Duke have become trapped in the alien ship while more of the invading soldiers attempt to destroy all traces of humanity from the planet.

The Seeds of War trilogy is Jonathan’s first collaboration, written with former psychology professor Lawrence M. Schoen, a multiple Hugo and Nebula finalist.   They met at North Americon in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Seeds of War series grew out of their fevered minds.
